Role and responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for the creation and management of the overall IBM-AMS test scope for a very large transformation program (KT); ensuring that all relevant parties have the same understanding
• Manage/lead the IBM-AMS KT test activities
• Manage 5 to 7 IBM-AMS KT test resources, including providing KT resource forecasts to the Test Delivery Manager
• Execute all Project Management activities (Track Status, Issue and Risk Management, etc.) related to testing, at the program level and escalate to IBM-AMS KT Program Office where needed
• Serve as escalation point for testing issues and risk of legacy
• Be responsible for IBM-AMS test strategy, plan, process, standards, templates  and manage conflict across application releases and align these activities with the KT program test strategy
• Communicate test strategy to all relevant parties and address concerns/issues raised up by the team
• Review test plan of each release to track that the all testing related activities are included in the schedule and related activities (test, deploy, etc) within and across releases.
• Provide guidelines to Test Manager and Test Leads on overall strategy and procedure related to testing
• Manage AMS test environment plan across releases and check that test environment is ready in accordance with the project schedule.
• Monitor the quality of delivery of testing services to the KT project

Required:

• 7 to 10 years as Test Manager
• 2 to 4 years at Test Program Manager or Test Director
• 3 to 5 years in Finance industry
• 2 to 3 years in Banking industry
• Technically familiar with the following environments: Mainframe, Open Systems (Unix/WinTel), Middleware, Web
